XFD CNC Equipment Co., Ltd., is a Sino-foreign joint
venture funded by Nanjing Fangda Mechanical and
Electrical Equipments Co. Ltd. (China) and Singapore
SMT Mechanical Engineering Co. Ltd in 1993 and is
specializing in development and manufacturing of
machine CNC systems. After years of continual development,
the company now has possessed a modern CNC comprehensive
building equipped with advanced developing facilities
as well manufacturing and testing facilities in
Baixia Industrial Park of Nanjing. Besides, it also
boasts of a talented staff team of 80 employees
with knowledge and awareness in techniques, management
and quality, 70% of which are technical and management
talents with above post-secondary diplomas. Notably,
its R&D group is comprised of qualified graduates
with doctor and master degrees. With a total asset
of approximately 20 million yuan, the company has
purchased a land block covering an area of 35 mu
in Nanjing Jiangning Scientific Park, one of the
state-level economic development zones, where the
largest economical CNC systems manufacturing base
in China is under construction with a total investment
of 20 million yuan. By then, the company will become
the most promising enterprise in the domestic economical
CNC sector.
The CNC serial systems manufactured by this company
sell over throughout China, and some are even exported
to the Southeast Asia. The company has set up 6
sales service divisions and offices throughout China
with an annual sales volume of nearly 2000 sets
of CNC systems. Besides, it has also provided supporting
equipments for over 40 machine tool manufacturers.
Its products have passed the quality examinations
by the General Administration of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic
of China for three consecutive times respectively
in 1999, 2000 and 2003, and have passed the quality
examinations for new products by the National Inspection
Center for three consecutive times from 2001 to
2002. Due to its emphasis on quality management
of products and technologies, the company has been
enjoying high reputation and welcome from industrial
experts and customers, and has been appraised as
the Advanced Management Enterprise of Baixia in
Nanjing and acquired financial supports from the
National Scientific and Technological Research Fund.
Along with its continual development, the company
also enhances its efforts in quality assurance systems
and has been positively advocating and implementing
the GB/T19002 and ISO9002 standards. On February
27, 2001, it passed the international quality certification
and became the first to acquire international certification
in domestic economical CNC sector. In regards of
this, China Machinery and Electronics Daily conducted
a special interview in March 2001 and published
three consecutive reports in April 2001, titled
as “Plum Blossoms Smell Fragrant Only after Enduring
Bitter Cold”, “Success Is Attributed to Pioneering
Innovation” and “Well Coordination of Excellent
Management Personnel and Employees”, which delivered
sufficient recognition on the development and evolution
of this company. In December 2003, the company passed
the certification of ISO9000 international quality
system standards (Edition 2000) again. For recent
years, the company has strengthened its efforts
in R&D and marketing of new products, ascending
its reputation and benefit to a new high. In October
2002, it has been awarded as Hi-tech Enterprise
of Nanjing and its CNC products as High-tech Products
of Nanjing. During the “CNC System Market Survey
on One Thousand Persons” program jointly sponsored
by China Numerical Control Association and the Machinist
Magazine, this company was included in the Top Ten
CNC System Brands with Customer Satisfaction together
with FANUC (Japan), SIEMENS (Germany) and other
internationally renowned brands (See Machinist of
June 2002). In April 2003, the CNC-27T, CNC-39T
and CNT-60T systems again were conferred the title
as “Satisfactory Products for Chinese Users” by
the Chinese CNC Equipment Users Committee of China
Association for Quality.
